How so? It keeps inactive players from holding up the play of active players. If a player knows he has a holiday coming up, then he should avoid games or leagues with a deadline which will result in him automoving. Seems very fair to me. 
Since minimal period is as long as 5 days, I prefer treat site as Play by Email rather then blitz.
And in leagues with more then 2 players, he isn't penaltized by time, only by stupid moves he will perform.
For example if player A is active (don't sleep and moves always), player B is on vacation and automoves every 1 minute, player C do 10 moves then logoff for 1 day, and player D do 1 move only every 3 days.
Player A still will wait 1-3 days average and not 1 minute |
