I see a line in the rules that says
"The observer's guns are checked for jamming and unjamming separately from the pilot's."

but I can't see anything that says whether going straight is required or not ?

I think probably not (as the warniign message for pilot guns jammed suggests flying straight, but the warning message for observer gun jammed does not say anything) but I thought I'd check what you think ?
