In this game http://www.youplay.it/play/ws_GameMove.asp?GameID=613514Leviathon has ceased to be played (not just gone into automove). I am wondering what happens if I approach and try to board her. Do I have to fight - or do the crew meekly surrender? Is there a similar option for my nearest opponent Deckard25? Or are we both better off avoiding collisions with Leviathon due to the trouble with unfouling from 'striked' ships. Incidentally is it just me that would prefer to use 'struck' ships rather that 'striked' ships? Edward
Edward---
Leviathan is none of the above---the player quit the game. The White flag simply indicates that there is no active player actions for this ship any longer. She may go on automove shortly, however.
Your question about any aggressive response from her is a good one, however, as I haven't encountered this situation personally in a long time. You can only test the waters, I suppose, and proceed as you see fit.
I think she will fight back, particularly once automove kicks in.
You see, she is not technically a 'struck' ship (adjective), as the current result is not due to enemy action, so none of those restrictions against aggressive action would automatically apply. I'm in that game with you, and will watch as you find out!
Striked is an invalid word---struck indicates the action has already occurred, thus I think your current usage of 'struck' ships is the correct one, and what I use. |
