I have a group of friends who play (you know who you are) and it took some of them a long time to really get just how damaging rake shots from big ships can be. My advice, do everything you can to rake an enemy and do everything you can to avoid being raked. Except when getting raked means you can win the game, which works because it is unexpected.
One more thing specially about game 436507, the only thing worse than a rake is an initial broadside rake. Avoid them at all costs. |
