Indeed they can. It happened to me in the World Cup, where opponents went automove for a turn, and then returned.
It seems in my experience that once automove begins, the computer waits at least 24 hours before automoving again. At anytime before the computer automoves a player, that player can logon and make their move normally.
Or is that symbol only useable by floridians?
Works for me, even for Rochester, which is second only to Seattle in cloudy days. Thanks for the info, also.
