I would go with the assumption that if someone surrenders they are admitting defeat even if they are ahead in points. What does everyone else think?


As long as a surrender gains the winner the max points for all ships it should be fine, otherwise you could surrender while ahead in a game for instance and because you are winning the other game by a larger margin you still win the match.

Thus if a scenario is played and one side or the other has a slight advantage you could abuse the system by surrendering the weaker side at 0 to 0 and win with the other side and gain a victory since it would be no points gained for one game and several points gained on the other.

Big hole that needs to be closed!
